VFS Global has been appointed as the outsourced partner by the Consulate General of France, Dubai to facilitate visa applications to France and Schengen countries. This site is a part of the Consulate General of France, Dubai, to ease the visa application process for the residents in the Emirates of Dubai & Northern Emirates.
The territories of operation of the Consulate General are mainly - the Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ras - Al- Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman and Umm-Al-Quwain. Abu Dhabi and Al Ain residence visa holders can apply in VFS Dubai only with Dubai tenancy contract as proof of residence.
The Consulate General of France in Dubai issues visas for residents of UAE only
|Due to the peak in the number of visa applications starting from spring and to avoid disappointment or last minute surprises, the visa section requests travelers to anticipate their visa applications for short-stay and long-stay (students for example). These applications can be received up to 90 days before the scheduled departure date.
The Consulate General of France invites travelers to take into account this situation, and tries to facilitate at best the flow of visa applications during this period to ensure better service.
|Please note applications are accepted only through prior appointments. Appointments can be scheduled through this website by paying the online service charges. The appointment dates are subject to availability hence all applicants are advised to schedule their appointments well in advance!
Applicants have a choice to avail the following services at the time of submission:
|Step 1 :
||Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you wish to apply.You can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.
|Step 2 :
||Schedule an appointment: All applicants aged 12 years and above will need to apply for the visa in person. Schedule an online appointment for the preferred date and time for each applicant and as the availability You may opt to apply for the regular or the Premium Lounge services at the Centre for a personalized service. The appointment letter will need to be presented at the Application Centre on the day of submission. No application will be accepted without an appointment as per the consulate requirement.
|Step 3 :
||Submit your application: Visit the Visa Application Centre, submit your Passport, Completed application, documents and enroll biometrics.
|Step 4 :
||Pay applicable Fee: Please check ‘Visa Fee’ table provided under the visa category you are applying for. All fees and service charges are payable in cash (AED) only. A receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.

For those applicants who wish to pay extra for that personal touch and enhanced customer service, this service will guarantee you one-to-one attention with a dedicated member of staff who will guide you to a separate waiting area.
Here, your application will be dealt with in stylish surroundings with refreshments available. We will also undertake any photocopying of documents that you may require.
You have to book an online appointment to submit your application. Premium Service can be availed on the day of appointment by requesting at the reception.
Once returned from the Consulate, your passport will be couriered to your home or office and can also be collected from our Centre(upon request only).
There is an additional fee of AED 150 for this service.
Please note that this service does not guarantee a faster turn around time
for processing of visas by the consulate.

You can track the application by entering Reference Number/Date of Birth along with the passport number.
Representatives visiting the Visa Application Centre to collect the passport will need to hold an Authorization Letter along with the original receipt for the application. A copy of the representative’s ID card should also be attached.
